Remove scratches from concrete floor

Question: What is the best way to remove deep scratches from my concrete floor before I seal or stain the floor? I used a Diamabrush tool and it left deep gouges in my floor. Answer: You would want to remove these deep, fork like, scratches from your floor before sealing it or applying a stain as most all sealers will not be able to cover it and hide it from the eye. Our recommendation is to not use this type of tool in the first place because of its aggression and high price, but sometimes you have to get a prior coating or glue off of the floor and this happens. Instead, use our 30 grit DNA Satellite pad on the bottom of a low speed buffer or propane burnisher and run the pad wet. This pad will minimize the deep scratch and also leave its own profile in the floor that allows the sealer to bite.
