Question: Is there a time window between after you stain to when you seal your floor?
Answer: You can wait as long as you want after you stain your floor to seal it. Most customers prefer to keep people and things off their floor after staining.
Let the stain or water properly dry from the floor. Be sure and remove any residue left behind if using our acid stain, then apply sealer.
Don’t seal too soon as there could be moisture in the floor and hazing can occur. A good rule of thumb is to wait 24 hours time after any water has been applied to the floor before sealing.
