Use to sand in between coats of sealer or epoxy. Most attach these to a white pad and a low speed buffer.

Question: Can you use a sanding screen to prep an existing coating?
Answer: Yes, this will open up the existing coating and allow for the next application to bond with the floor. Keep in mind, the adhesion of your new coat will only be as good as the existing coating.

Question: Can you use a sanding screen on a full flake floor before the topcoat is applied?
Answer: Yes, some contractor will do this to every full flake system they do. This is typically a personal preference. Sanding a full flake floor will knock down some of the flake and can make for a little smoother floor. Make sure the coating is set firm enough to handle a buffer before sanding.

Question: What RPM would you run a machine, when using an 80 or 150 grit sanding screen?
Answer: 175 RPM is the desired speed. A low speed buffer works great.
