Poly 75 is a 75% solids low voc polyaspartic floor coating that is super easy to use. The product is a simple one to one mix. Our No Voc (Volitale Organic Compounds) version is a budget friendly polyasprtic. This product can be used for topcoats over flakes, basecoats, or even as a clear coat for grind and seals. This poly has a great pot life and be exposed to foot traffic in just hours. Can be pigmented. find pigments here * Low Voc does not mean there is no odor at all. This product does have a slight solvent odor during the curing process.

Surface Preparation:
The surface must be structurally sound and free of sealers, glues, contaminates, oils, and other foreign contaminants. Surface prep should be done dry with diamond abrasive tools and/or bead blasting to achieve a surface profile of a CSP 2. The surface should be dull, scratched throughout and bone dry prior to coating. Wait a minimum of 48 hours to apply coating if water has been used. Avoid using water if possible. Concrete must be a minimum of 30 days old.

Mixing: Mix part A and part B individually before combining. In a separate mixing container mix Part A and B equally to achieve a 1:1 ratio. Drill mix contents for a minimum of 2 minutes with a paddle mixer. Ensure the sides and bottom of the bucket get mixed. Only mix the amount of product that can be used in the allotted pot life time. Avoid whipping air into the material as this may result in pinhole blisters. Do not use small mixing apparatuses. Do not thin.

Pigmenting: This product can be pigmented a solid color. Mix in 8 to 16 oz of pigment per gallon. Lighter colors typically require more pigment per gallon. Additional coats may be necessary for complete solid coverage

Application: Use 18”, ⅜” roller covers. This product can be dipped and rolled out of a pan or squeegee and backrolled. Squeegee and backroll is recommended for any topcoat/finish coat. For topcoating flake floors it is recommended to flat squeegee the product full coverage and immediately back roll with a ⅜” nap roller. This product has a great bucket (pot) life so only distribute the necessary amount that can be squeegee and backrolled at a time. Keep a wet edge. This product goes down at approximate rates of 150 sqft over flake and 250 sqft/gal on smooth surfaces. Both temperature and humidity effect set times. Polyaspartic is best applied at 50 to 90 degrees

Coverages:200- 300 sqft per gallon over prepped concrete, 150-200 sqft per gallon over flake

Recoating: Refer to data sheet on recoat windows. Use a sanding screen of 60 to 120 grit to profile the surface. A black stripping pad or a grit brush may be needed to profile the low areas on flake floors. Wipe clean to remove dust.

DO NOT THIN. DO NOT USE ON BRICK. USE PROPER VENTILATION MASK AND PROTECTIVE GEAR.

Clean up: Xylene is an appropriate cleaner. Dispose of in accordance with proper regulations for your are after use.

FIRST AID:
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing is affected, call a doctor.
Skin: In case of contact, Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin
immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes
Eyes: Hold your eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water
for 15 – 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the
first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing the eye.
Ingestion: Ingestion is unlikely because of its physical properties
and is not expected to be hazardous. Do not induce vomiting
unless instructed to do so by a physician.

Increased temperatures will shorten the recoat window. Decreased temperatures will lengthen recoat window.
COF WARNING: The current coefficient of friction required by the ADA is .6 on level surfaces and .8 on ramps. Concrete Floor Supply Recommends the use of slip resistant additives if needed to meet this requirement. It is the installers responsibility to provide a flooring system that meets current safety standards.

Question: What is the best clear coat to use over epoxy flakes on floors?
Answer:Before we answer the question, lets establish that there are 2 types of ‘flake floors’. The first one we call a ‘partial’ broadcast which is where there are flakes every few inches or so and the basecoat is highly visible. The second, is a “full Flake” system which is by far the most popular install done by contractors and pros. This floor has flakes covering 100 percent of the floor. When the flakes are covering the floor you need to use a higher solids coating to properly grout and fill all of the voids that are created by flake. Our Poly line of products are polyaspartics that range from 75 to 90 percent solids and has been proven to be a great topcoat in this instance. It also dries quickly to return to service, has a low odor during installation, and is UV stable. This product is highly durable and is in the same family as truck bed liner so you know its tough. We have tons of everyday contractors that use this as part of their everyday business and they just coming back for more due to the ease of installation and the performance it provides for their customers. The Poly 75 can be used on either partial or full flake systems.

Question:What is the best way to apply Poly 75 over flakes?
Answer:Always squeegee and backroll over flake. Squeegee with a flat squeegee with 100 percent coverage as the goal. This properly grouts the flakes and makes sure you don’t get any dry spots. As soon as you squeegee the product out roll it with an 18″ 3/8″ nap roller as soon as possible so the product has the opportunity to lay out before it starts to set. Expect coverages of 150 to 200 sqft per gallon over full flake floors. This product can be put over partial flake floors too with the same methodology (you’ll get slightly better coverage rates)

Question:Can you pigment Poly 75?
Answer:Yes. We have pigments that will make Poly 90 a solid color. One pigment pack (Poly Pigment) will pigment up to 4 gallons of mixed Poly 75

Question: Is Poly 75 No Voc best in the bucket while installing or pour on the floor?
Answer: Poly 75 is best left in the bucket. In fact this is one of its great features is that it will hang out in the bucket unlike many Polyaspartics. Pour on the floor, flat squeegee and 3/8″ nap backroll as you go is the methodology. Once on the floor you have 5 to 15 minutes to work with it.

Question: Which pigment will make Poly 75 a solid color?
Answer: We have Poly Pigments
that can be added to make it a solid color. One of our quart size pigments will pigment up to 4 gallons of Poly
