Acid Stain Exterior System
- Clean the Concrete
- Utilize a power washer to deep clean the concrete
-
-
- Add a dilution of 1 part Super Blue and 3 parts water to the concrete to help ‘open’ the concrete. This can be diluted more if desired. Don’t put down any stronger than 1:3
-
- Ensure that the concrete is free from previous sealers. The acid stain needs to ‘react’ with the concrete. Citra Peel and Snot are two products that can remove sealers and contaminates during the cleaning process. The use of these products will require they are flushed from the surface before staining.
-
-
- Let the concrete dry until the surface appears dry
-
- Stain the floor with Concrete Floor Supply Acid Stain
- Spray the floor with the stain and insure 100% coverage (generally 150 to 300 sqft per gallon)
- Note: a small mock-up area is recommended before doing the entire floor
- Spray the floor with the stain and insure 100% coverage (generally 150 to 300 sqft per gallon)

- Thoroughly flush the residue from the stain off of the floor with water and clean the floor free from dust, excessive residue, and footprints.
- Let the floor dry (preferably overnight)
